COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS

In the past, we've held:

Guitar & Bass Gear
This was a series of three workshops aimed at beginners and their parents in order to help them learn more about guitar and bass gear. Each took place at the Bethlehem Area Public Library  in fall of 2014 and was an hour long, interactive class led by truly wonderful people from the area who LOVE sharing their knowledge of gear and are supportive of women + trans and nonbinary folks in music. Our presenters included April Smith of VoirVoir, David Kresge of Goodnight Stars Goodnight Air, Dylan Veltri of Keystone Lutherie, Matt Molchany of Tape Swap Radio, Seth Juknevic of Trouble City All-Stars, Erik Santana, and Jose DeJesus. We’re so thankful to have gotten such an all-star lineup!

Intro to InDesign
In the beginning of 2015, we partnered with the Moravian College Art Department and it was awesome. Our amazing graphic designer, Caitlin Schultheis, taught the basics of Adobe InDesign and helped attendees create a poster in a five hour crash course. It was a lot of fun!

Unfortunately, our community workshop program is currently on hiatus. We hope to bring these back in the future!
