Get LOUD Camp 2025

2025 was our 12th annual Get LOUD Camp and our largest camp to date! Thirty-three (33) campers, ages 10-17, spent the week of July 14th at St. John’s UCC Fullerton. They learned how to play an instrument, formed a band, wrote an original song together, and then performed at a *real concert*– all in just six days! Our campers also attended workshops based on this year’s theme: ELEMENTS OF CHANGE - Nature inspires us everyday with its power and beauty, reminding us that everything in life is fluid.

🌊 Like the ebb and flow of the ocean water's tide, things are sometimes easy and sometimes not. But we can ride the waves of change instead of letting them pull us under.

💨 Like the air we breathe that comes as a refreshing breeze or a mighty gust, we can be both soft and strong.

🪨 Like the earth firm beneath our feet, we stand strong in our convictions and know that our true strength lies in being ourselves.

🔥 Like fire with its warmth and light, we can spark hope for a brighter future.

✨ Like spirit, we can cultivate mindfulness, connection, and trust in our intuition.

Each day of camp we explored one of the 5 elements and considered how it provides inspiration for facing challenges, nurturing community, and creating the good we want to see in our world.

MONDAY - Earth

WEDNESDAY - Fire
Special: Movement meditation activity w/ Jacqui, band photos w/ Nick, “Burn” and rebirth activity, confidence building activity

Our program concluded with the showcase on July 19th featuring eight amazing bands playing their original song in front of friends, family, and fans. The show was INCREDIBLE and all the bands did an awesome job.
